Bamberton will be one of the most environmentally progressive communities in Canada. The land has now been cleaned up of the contaminants that polluted it during its industrial history, and the healing of the land will continue over time with the building of a diverse community that gives residents the opportunity to live, work and play in their own backyard.

Living at Bamberton will give residents the satisfaction of knowing that, far from adding to the debt that the planet and our grandchildren will pay, they are actually part of a community that has taken in to account the appropriate use of the land and how to protect and enhance its ecology. It is planned that the community will use sustainable building materials, create alternative energy, conserve water and energy, and provide alternative transportation solutions.
